Celebrate NYCA

Celebrate YOU

We celebrate, each and every day, the stories and artistic practice of every culture, of every race, of every life choice and orientation, every religion, all other and unique spiritual beliefs and practices, each and all life-partner choice or choices, all genders named and unnamed, every age and stage of life from newborn to Guinness-record holder, as well as the myriad of health, fitness, and multifarious lifestyle choices. We embrace both the-road-more and the-road-less-traveled travelers, graduates and non-graduates of all possible educational pathways, taught and self-taught, and those of every physical, emotional, and mental stage of being, awareness, and experience.

We celebrate everyone, every day.

We engage in ongoing original program design that explores and reveals the creative inspirations of artists—the stories that reflect our search for meaning, stories that guide us, stories that remind us, stories that give us an understanding of ourselves and an understanding of others that we did not know, stories that may represent you or present to you a new perspective—stories are opportunities of learning and learning precipitates a forward momentum toward realizing our dreams and igniting aspirations or thankfully guides us to a resolution and awareness of the things that stand in our way or misguide us. The stories of artists offer an appreciation of the hopes and fears and vulnerabilities of ourselves and of others. Stories bring to light unique differences among us to be celebrated and celebrate those unique qualities that on closer reflection bring to light how much we share in common.
